3 collections that blew my mind at Fashion Week
Latin designers take Paris, Berlin and the AI world.
When Fashion Month comes, there’s always an opportunity to explore everything that is happening with Latin American designers all over the world—designers who have crossed frontiers and are perhaps living abroad or presenting their work overseas.
For this compilation, I focused on three different designers who were showcasing their work in Paris and online.
Let’s start.

After cutting her teeth in New York and London, this Mexican-American designer just graduated with an MA in Knitwear from the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) and debuted her collection “Las Gulf Girlz” at Paris Fashion Week just a couple of weeks ago.
According to an interview with Castellon in Service95, the collection follows the journey of a girl band created by the designer, touring through Mexico and the United States.
At the same time, her work was inspired by Mexican painter Daniel Lezama’s pieces and even ventures to reinterpret the popular quinceañera tradition from Mexico.
