I'm a big fashion media girlie.

Which generally means I'm fascinated by fashion media—print, digital, all of it—and all the changes that have come along.

Today, I nearly flew off my seat when I saw the latest cover of Mildew Magazine on Instagram:

The issue caption reads: “In Mildew Issue 3, we pay a late-night visit to Tokyo's 24-hour unmanned secondhand shops, kick it with vintage soccer jerseys in Mexico City, pay homage to an anti-capitalist fashion magazine from East Germany, tour a Mumbai flea market, dig up decaying portraits in Côte d'Ivoire, find out what happens to all our lost luggage ... and much more.”

Mildew is a secondhand fashion magazine (and one of the first printed ones, to my knowledge).

Last year, I interviewed the editor and founder, Ellen Louise Freeman, who, to my surprise, is based in Mexico City.
