I know many readers are still in winter time, but where I currently live (Guadalajara, Mexico), it’s already back to 30° during the day—and it’s barely February.
One of the things that helped last year to weather May’s heat was that my apartment is relatively cool. But also, I would find myself in the evenings wearing small shorts and crop tops.
This year, the heat might be just getting worse. With this in mind, I’ve been finding myself attracted to investing in fresh indoor outfits, just so I can feel comfortable at home during the upcoming times.
It also seems that brands know this, and as we are adapting to hotter weather, I’m sharing here a little selection that has caught my eye:
Sabrina Ol
The brand just launched this lovely drop for Valentine’s Day, and I am quite obsessed with the elastic adjusters in the shorts.

Estudio 1999
With soft, cloud-like seams, these shorts come in a variety of colors. Since the brand works with deadstock and upcycling, the selection varies depending on the available fabrics. I especially love the dark brown ones at the moment.

Pau Román
This brand is based in Mérida, Yucatán (so they know heat), and over the past year, they have launched these sets in soft cotton fabrics—one in green and one in terracotta.

Aurora
This Colombian brand, which has a showroom in Mexico City, has been on my bucket list forever. These soft shorts seem like a beautiful option, as well as any of their tops.

Eloísa
The Colombian brand famous for their prints, recently launched their basics collection. Not only did I adore the t-shirt with horses and stars, but the shorts are also very flattering.

Extra soft wear:
