Substack is really sleeping on those fashion newsletters/podcasts that aren’t product-focused and that’s a pity. Georgia has a unique view of the industry as a former model, who didn’t create a brand (HA!), but rather became a fashion writer/journalist. Seriously, she deserves more followers.

I followed Georgia immediately.

Although shopping and styling content are a large part of the ecosystem of newsletters here on Substack, there is a type of content that is hiding within the platform.

This content is more about analyzing fashion topics from social and cultural perspectives—those things that traditional media channels would never talk about.

Emmanuelle of ‘Le Journal Curioso’ is part of that wave, a writer with experience as a freelance editor and translator for luxury fashion e-commerce. She has worked with Farfetch, Matches Fashion, Net-A-Porter, Topshop, and Vogue Italy.
