Weird and chunky jewelry I’d wear this summer
Artful pieces on my wishlist right now.
Currently, most of the jewelry I wear on the day to day is made with materials like glass, resin, and chaquiras (glass seed beads).
There’s a huge wave of designers working with these non-precious materials, and I hear it when people tell me: How can you wear glass rings? Aren’t they delicate? I say no! But I also don’t wear them daily for everything, of course.
I treat them like art pieces on my fingers, as I do believe many pieces of jewelry can be.
Of course, while I’m still building my downloadable jewelry guide, I have to share my current favorites.

I shared this brand with flower rings last time, and I keep sharing it because I’m just dazzled by the pieces. I’m hoping I can meet the designer soon. She recently had an exhibition in Mexico City — I wish I had been there! The flowers are truly huge and really beautiful in person.

This Colombian designer is making some stunning rings called Paz Apex Predator. How amazing are these?

An Argentinian creator based in Spain. The way this brand plays with glass is truly astonishing.
Bracelets
I don’t think I’ve ever been a bracelet person myself, but I found these unique, playful ones — I might actually consider adding one to my collection soon.
