About me:
I'm Talía Cu, a Mexican fashion communicator and mentor, with a background in fashion journalism and illustration.
I've been in the Latin American fashion scene for over 12 years, and I've had the opportunity to experience the industry from various perspectives:
Firstly, as a fashion journalist, working for Vogue Mexico and Latin America, as Digital Editorial Coordinator and Digital Contributor for three years.
Later, I developed a career in fashion illustration, working for brands such as Fendi, Bumble, Pandora, Dolce & Gabbana, and Lancôme.
In 2018, I was recognized by Vogue as international talent.
In 2017, I created Draw Latin Fashion, an educational platform and community with +140k followers on social media. For this platform, I co-founded the first 100% online fashion journalism course for Latin America.
A graduate of the Textile Design and Fashion Bachelor's program at CENTRO de Diseño, I have studied various design courses at Central Saint Martins, and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Fashion Journalism from the London College of Fashion, as well as a Master's degree in New Media and Digital Culture from the University of Amsterdam.
I currently reside in Guadalajara, Mexico, where I write this newsletter.
